Eight months ago, I had the fortune to be interviewed by two women I hold in very high regard: Orly Shani and Brandi Milloy, the dynamic duo behind the MOMHOOD podcast. At the time, my son was five months old. This interview shares the challenges of owning a business and—in full disclosure—my deepest feelings about being an entrepreneur and balancing that workload alongside motherhood. Life dramatically changes when you have a child, and for me, those changes brought on a yearning for simplicity and a cure to the cycle of over productivity. This was the beginning of the whisper that led me out of the chaos and complexity of my life that I brought upon myself. This interview captures the considerations and reconciliations, and gave me a lot to think about in its wake. I hope this episode gives you the courage to ask the hard questions, all while celebrating the awareness that led to asking those questions in the first place.
