🏙️ Too many units in DY?
We hear it all the time: “I don’t want to buy in Dee Why – there are just too many apartments.”
But let’s look at the facts ⬇️
✔️ DY has had apartments for 70 years. Most were built in the 60s/70s (≈8,600).
✔️ In the last 10 years, only ≈700 new ones were added.
✔️ Compare that to Mascot: 2k → 32k in ~15 years 😳
✔️ New and old stock don’t compete — they attract totally different buyers.
✔️ Every off-the-plan unit sold through us in DY has resold for more.
💡 And remember: most new projects are pre-sold before completion. They don’t “flood” the market.
DY isn’t oversupplied — it’s evolving. And it’s still a home run for buyers & investors.
