In today's special episode, I decided to not only just share some quick horror news updates in the beginning of this episode, but create a one-time only segment to explain to one Mr. Damien Leone about why everything is political, ESPECIALLY in Horror films and that his statement he posted on Facebook (again, I wanna slap the person who did not show the actual date of when it was posted when they took a screenshot of that statement) was ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY AND A VERY "ALPHA WHITE BRO" THING TO SAY and REALLY RIDICULOUS!

Having said that, Mr. Leone, if you ever do end up coming my way to be invited on my show whether on my solo horror podcast series here at After Dark with L.K. The HorrorNerd or with me and my co-host over at The HorrorNerd Experience and we hit you with some REALLY HARD HITTING QUESTIONS that will force you to be openly and brutally honest so that people can know who you really are and what you really stand for, because as horror media content creators, podcasters and especially journalists, we prefer to know the truth, and that statement you made, 99 times out of 100... those statements are typically made by right-leaning type of people. Think about it, Damien. Think about it.

I hope you realize you just lost some pretty cool cast and crew members who most likely will no longer work with you when it's time to finally finish the Terrifier franchise for good with Terrifier 4, and that chances are people like Lauren LaVera and David Howard Thornton will most likely end up working for indie queer/disabled/trans filmmakers like me in the future. You realize that now, right? Yeah? Okay, good.

In the next segment, I went on to pick out 5 really great Black horror content creators everyone should follow and support in honor of Black History Month:

Follow The Black Buffy

Follow GirlThatsScary

Follow BriHeartsHorror

Follow EvolTyrone

Follow InLoveWithHorror

I conclude with some final thoughts and a recap on today's episode before wrapping it up. I'll see you on the NEXT episode of After Dark with L.K. The HorrorNerd with a special guest soon!
