As we have been discussing "wearing all the many hats" and just focusing on being really intentional, I was led to reach out to this special guest for this podcast. We allowed the Holy Spirit to just guide us while having a heart felt chat about all the things we deal with on our journey. As women, we sometimes battle between career or staying home, and then the adventures of motherhood all while still doing our very best to serve our spouse plus making sure that all we are doing is pleasing to God, right? Keep Going friend, you're not alone!!! So, in this podcast you get to hear first hand from Merlinda Martinez who has had multiple ventures in her life but has always been proud to have a solid foundation for her family no matter what! She and her husband are very intentional about doing Life with the Lord at the Center and making sure that they raise their children to carry out the same fundamentals for generations moving forward. Merlinda shares some of her ups and downs in her journey but how with honoring God as their foundation that they were always able to stand firm together in raising their kids, pursuing different ventures and having that faith that they can get through anything as long as they are walking with the Lord. She shares some amazing words of encouragement for those of us who are really growing our faith and provides an amazing tip that you can start to implement with your family immediately too!

Scripture referenced: Philippians 4:13 but I encourage you to read all of Philippians 4 as support of this episode.
Here's a journal question: Has God shown you areas that you needed to learn how to be content with what you had and not focusing on what you didn't have in that moment? Write about it. How did it feel in reflection?
