In today’s podcast, we have David Wilson glassblower and owner of Atomic Solar for renewable solar energy. When it came to neon he was inspired by neon and furnace works of Paul Seide that he saw when visiting the Heller Gallery, which leads to his first Neon experience in 1993 as an assistant to Jacob Fishman at Penland School of Craft. He also created the florescent glass called Glo Glass that is sold exclusively at Spruce Pine which he’s had years to play around with, so don’t be shy to give you a ring or email, whether its about glass or perhaps a special project using solar energy.
