Today I'm talking with Alex Molden author, keynote speaker, leadership coach, and host of The Shark Effect podcast. Alex is a former American football defensive back who was drafted in the first round with the 11th overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints, he played in the NFL for 8 seasons. Alex was inducted into the University of Oregon Hall of Fame in 2008. 

We talk about his journey from an angry kid without direction to an ultra-focused athlete, and his transition from the NFL into fatherhood and coaching. Now Alex speaks to young athletes, sharing the lessons he's learned on how to succeed in life, and he is sharing several of those tips with us today.
