Shane Rogerson is an Anglican minister who gets angry. We hear what makes him angry and how he expresses this anger on the rugby field.
Richard Dawkins claims that: “The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser”. He goes on, concluding that God is a “capriciously malevolent bully”.
Is he right? Is God's anger justified?
We ask Shane Rogerson some Bigger Questions.
This episode was recorded before a live audience in Melbourne's CBD in April 2017 with special guest host Andrew Laird.
