Conflict. It’s the biggest theme in 2020 and it’s destructive nature (if left unaddressed) is what tears relationships apart. Believe it or not, many people don’t know how to navigate conflict. They lack the ability to see their emotions, step back, re-group, and proceed with thoughtful productive conversation. Conflict is such an emotionally driven beast, that often people succumb to their desire to fight and engage in some form of defense. Conversely, there are those who were raised like be to believe in submitting to conflict and never standing up for themselves.

My guest Ben Gallaher is the Co-founder of B+A, the world's fastest and most creative management consultancy. We spend time talking about dealing with fear based conflict and how to resolve it. Ben joins us from England, and you can learn more about him and his company at https://bandaequals.com/.

In this episode you’ll also hear about the Honor Foundation from CEO Matt Stevens. Matt was a graduate in the first cohort when the Virginia Beach campus opened in the spring of 2016, where I was one of the original five coaches. Matt is a retired 26 year Navy SEAL Captain who is now leading The Honor Foundation which provides Special Forces Operators and support staff structured career transition support.
