TRIGGER / CONTENT WARNING: Discussions of Suicide.
Rachel Dickenson was at home when she heard an unusual sound, something wasn't right, and she ran into her 17 year old son's room, to find him dead. In this powerful and raw story, Rachel talks about her journey from that tragic day. There were many stages to her grief, from keeping herself busy, for the first few weeks, to travel, to then literally staring at a television for two years. Rachel began to find acceptance and solace through writing, and as you will hear from this episode, she is at peace, and able to talk about her son, the memories, the grief, and the future. It's a heartwarming and wonderful episode.
