Guy O'Leary was diagnosed with bowel cancer in November 2017, after making a recovery he found out that his cancer had spread to his liver and was subsequently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 3 months later. Today, Guy will tell me one of the most inspiring stories ever heard on The Good Glow. How he went from this awful time, to being cancer free and swimming 31 miles just 6 months later. Still in her early 30s, she has built her brand off the back of hard work, commitment and an impeccable eye for detail. Recently, Hannah took the bravest step one could take by speaking out and telling the world that as a child she was sexually abused. When I think of Hannah I think of the words' strength, resilience, kindness, openness, generosity, she is turning her pain into her power and is saving lives by telling her story. I am deeply honoured to speak to Hannah today and while the unimaginable happened to her, today is about her rising.

Billy McCarthy is the son of first and second generation Irish immigrants Margaret and Bill McCarthy. Their lives changed forever on 9/11, when they lost their son and brother Michael Desmond in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centres in 2001. Michael Desmond worked on the 92nd floor of the North Tower, with a company called Carr Futures. He was 33, an assistant vice president, hugely successful and due to finish work that day at 10am. 

Today, Billy speaks to me about the day that changed everything and I am so grateful for his time.
