When Betty went missing, there appeared to be no leads and whilst her family searched for years they had no answers. For years the children grew up with the shadow of not knowing what had happened to their mother hanging over them. The police had no real leads, there was nothing known about what had taken place that night in May, and the years continued to roll on by. Then, almost thirteen years later, a confession was found hidden, and this cold case was suddenly brought back to the fore.
