Hello, I am flying solo for a portion of the podcast today. I wanted to give you some life updates. Claire is a dear friend of mine and appeared on The Good Glow before to speak about her brain tumour and the long road to recovery. Thankfully, she is well today and still living in Hong Kong. Hong Kong has very strict rules around Covid and after Claire's husband tested positive, an eventful couple of weeks awaited. She's here today to tell us the story.

Still in her early 30s, she has built her brand off the back of hard work, commitment and an impeccable eye for detail. Recently, Hannah took the bravest step one could take by speaking out and telling the world that as a child she was sexually abused. When I think of Hannah I think of the words' strength, resilience, kindness, openness, generosity, she is turning her pain into her power and is saving lives by telling her story. I am deeply honoured to speak to Hannah today and while the unimaginable happened to her, today is about her rising.

S15 Ep7: The Good Glow - My Mini Reset For You

Billy McCarthy is the son of first and second generation Irish immigrants Margaret and Bill McCarthy. Their lives changed forever on 9/11, when they lost their son and brother Michael Desmond in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centres in 2001. Michael Desmond worked on the 92nd floor of the North Tower, with a company called Carr Futures. He was 33, an assistant vice president, hugely successful and due to finish work that day at 10am. 

Today, Billy speaks to me about the day that changed everything and I am so grateful for his time.
