I’m in the company of a real heavyweight of the barbering industry, Mark Maciver, aka SliderCuts. On this session of the HTCI podcast we’re talking to Mark on how he’s determination and committing 100% to everything he does has seen him become a business success. Owner of the SliderCuts brand, coach, public speaker and author of the ‘Shaping Up Culture’ book, Mark is proof that you can achieve anything if you really have the desire and passion within you. Mark is on a mission to inspire young people. Not just about cutting hair but about business, self-development and community. Today we’re to get many of these pointers from Mark, as he is going to motivate and inspire us all with his journey that’s shaped his future to the success he is now finding in life.

The big take-away that you will great from our time with Mark is: never be afraid of failure – the only person who stops you from achieving is you. Mark says, “If everyone turns you down, then fine, but you don’t say no to yourself.” Great advice!
