When we're constantly online, we are overloading our brain with a chemical called dopamine. While this chemical is amazing and makes you feel great, excessive internet use causes too much to be released. When this happens, we feel less pleasure and happiness from everyday events- a walk in the park, playing with your dog, or chatting with a family member.
