Today, RÚV English looks ahead to a film festival taking place in Akranes later this month.

IceDocs - the Iceland Documentary Film Festival, will be held for the fifth time this July. It?s hosted on July 19th to July 23rd in the town of Akranes.

The festival will feature a number of the very best of the world?s documentaries, as well as a high quality music programme, pub quizzes, beach parties, film related events and a children?s programme.
