This is something I am guilty of each and every week, more than I'd like to admit. I have had opportunities cross my desk that I have said "no" to, and I regret it.

Of course, not all opportunities meet your goals or plans..that is why you need to screen these opportunities...but it's hard to tell what is good and what is not...
