Three teenage girls transition from childhood to their teenage years, leading to growing resentment towards one of their friends. 

This animosity escalates to the point where they commit murder and manage to conceal the crime for three years. The case takes a turn when a witness, who was amount the last to see Missy Avila, steps forward, ultimately unraveling the truth.
