Today's guest is a long time friend of mine, Elizabeth Ward who has bravely joined us to share her grief story in honor of her boyfriend Colton Davis. On the morning of September 24th 2022 Lizzy found Colton unresponsive in their home on the kitchen floor. On September 28th, Colten passed away after being in the ICU and on life support just 8 days after his 29th birthday. This sudden and tragic loss sent a shockwave through the fitness community in Evansville, Indiana but left Elizabeth feeling isolated in grief and coping with the complex trauma of his dying story. Her beautiful retelling of his life and her ability to use his life as a means of mourning is something we can all learn from.
