Welcome to Transatlantic History Ramblings. Tonight we discuss the life and death of the great Edgar Allan Poe with mystery and true crime author, novelist, trial attorney, Television personality and all around wonderful person Janis Wilson.
Janis Wilson was a trial lawyer in Philadelphia when TV first came calling, and since then she has been a featured commentator on true crime shows such as Nightmare Next Door, Deadly Affairs, Scorned, and Killer Couples. Her novel Goulston Street is a highly praised work using historical fact to tell the story of Jack The Ripper thru the eyes of her protagonist Lady Sarah.
Janis is not only a mystery writer, but also a great student of mystery and of Edgar Allan Poe and it was our pleasure to be able to spend some time with her.
