Doug Eichner's journey began in Washington State, racing 3-wheelers before transitioning to ATV racing. His strong work ethic and ability to adapt helped him secure a welding job with JP Racing. Eventually, he moved to Southern California to propel his racing career.
Doug Eichner started making waves on the world stage of racing, participating in international and national events. In 1993, he made a significant mark by winning the MTEG series and the 12 Hours of PDV in France alongside his teammate Mark E. Eichner's legend was growing.
Eichner's exceptional versatility and ability to excel across different machines and disciplines led him to win three Open Pro-AM MX titles and consistently finish in the top 10 in the premier class. In 1998, he embarked on a new chapter in his career, venturing into desert racing with BITD and SCORE.
Many consider Doug Eichner as one of the greatest riders of all time. His extensive victories include MX titles, White Brothers 4-Stroke World titles, SCORE, BITD, WORCS, 24 Hours, and PDV. Eichner's diverse skill set and talent were often underestimated, as highlighted by Shane Hitt.
