Deborah Tan-Pink is the Head of Content at SmartUp, an edtech startup focused on microlearning for corporate employees. She spent a decade in publishing before deciding to venture into entrepreneurship and technology.

On this episode, we talk about how Deborah built her resilience and grit during her school years, when she was bullied by both students and teachers – and how she used that resilience and grit to rise quickly from intern to Editor-in-Chief at Cosmopolitan Singapore, with skills and a mindset that helped her grow and pivot her career. She also shares her thoughts on how parents can support their children when they are dealing with bullies.
