Αγγέλω (Angelo) is the Greek verb for 'announce'. Αγγελος (Angelos) is the one who makes the announcement, a messenger. In modern Greek, both meanings of the word are still in use and their difference is based on context. Either a simple messenger or one set to bring a message from God. An ANGEL
