Episode 569 - Parking Lot Politics: Border Agents, Protesters & Patriotism

Listen Later

In this episode of The Green Line, host Art Del Cueto reports from Atlanta, GA, where he's attending a National Shriners event. While in Atlanta he recieved a call from an Agent wanting to let him know of an Issue. In this disturbing incident involving Border Patrol agents, Unmarked enjoying the lunch from that restaurant, were asked by Chick-fil-A Management to leave the parking lot, even as a uniformed local Burbank PD officer was not requested to leave. Art follows up with management and dives into what he sees as growing bias against Border Patrol.

He also recounts protests at Shriners events from PETA and  critiques inconsistencies in protest movements. Art also breaks down for us the newly passed “big beautiful bill which also focuses on border security, highlighting key wins for law enforcement and immigration reform.

Art also shares with us a revealing Uber ride conversation with an asylum-seeking Venezuelan immigrant which sparks deeper discussion on how other nations enforce immigration laws — and why Americans should be more grateful for the freedoms they have.
