Sani glanced behind but did not see anything. He slowed down and stopped, still jogging on the spot as he turned to look behind him. He paced himself up to build his speed momentum again. That was when he heard the pounding again. This time he halted almost immediately and quickly turned around. 

There, barely 50 meters away from him, an old woman, bent almost double was running towards him. Her upper body parallel to the ground, her hands were folded at her back and her head looking up straight ahead.
