Robert Berdella, Jr. is a notorious serial killer whose reign of terror spanned the mid and late 1980's in which he raped, tortured, and murdered men in their 20s using extreme methods of torture in an attempt to make the men slaves who were submissive to him. He is known by his nicknames the Kansas City Butcher, The Collecter (based on a movie he loved), and even Bizarre Bob Berdella (named for his shop "Bob's Bizarre Bazaar). Police were able to end his years of crime when his final victim jumped two stories out a window in Robert's home, surviving and alerting authorities. No bodies of his victims were ever found.
