INTERVIEW BEGINS AT: 28:10

In the 1990's Wrestling was enjoying a new golden age, The WWF/WWE was king and WCW was just gaining momentum, and in a few years they would be competing with the juggernaut of the WWE in the famous "Monday night wars", but before that happened.. there was Herb Abrams and the UWF

Abrams wanted to create an all new wrestling company that would not only compete but defeat the top dog WWF/WWE, signing up big name stars to inflated contracts and hustling for television, Herb Abrams was a man on a mission. Sadly, he was also a man with serious demons. As much as Herb loved the wrestling business he also loved cocaine, booze, parties, celebrity life styles and high price prostitutes.

By 1996, the UWF had folded, and Herb Abrams was dead at age 41. Since then Herb and the UWF have become legend, wild stories have flown about for years and even Dark Side of the Ring did an episode about Herb, but what is the truth? Who was this man with big dreams and bigger flaws. In Tortured Ambition, author Jonathan Plombon spoke to almost 50 people who worked with, or for, or knew the real Herb Abrams, and for the first time, the full story is being told, and we are thrilled to be joined by Jonathan for an exclusive interview!
