Several filmmakers from the featured short films at the 2021 Etheria Film Festival are here to talk about their projects: Writer/Director Katy Erin ("Bootstrapped"), Writer/Director Myra Aquino ("The Gray"), and Director Astrid Thorvaldsen & Actor Nina Yndis ("Who Goes There").

First, Katy Erin talks about the character development in "Bootstrapped", as well as making the best use of technology and physical space with the budget available, and working through tech challenges when they arise.

Next, Myra Aquino talks about blurred boundaries of moral choices in "The Gray", how her vision of Purgatory manifests similarly to a DMV, getting the film made and having the right throwback tech props, and more.

Then Astrid Thorvaldsen and Nina Yndis talk about the casting and filming of "Who Goes There", of making use of studio set pieces both on location and in studio, about creating the personalities of the sisters, and judicious use of special effects on a budget.
