It is the reason why 30 years ago the revolutionary singer Prince, wrote the word slave on his face, and changes his name to unpronounceable symbol. It's why even today, an unlikely rebel named Taylor Swift is re-recording and re- releasing her entire early catalog, of songs she signed away the rights to when she was just a starry eyed teen.
