We are three weeks done with Arizona State Sun Devils football training camp with at least one more week of partial media availability to fill you in on what we know. But through three weeks of observation, we have learned a lot about this team in year one of the Kenny Dillingham era of Sun Devils football. For starters, the offense will have depth throughout, but perhaps most impressive is the backfield. Cameron Skattebo will garner most of the attention but don't sleep on his teammates Kyson Brown, Tevin White, DeCarlos Brooks, and Javen Jacobs. Defensively, we should expect a lot of rotation at all three levels of the defense thanks to plenty of depth, competition, and flat-out wide-open opportunities for guys to seize roles. But perhaps most importantly, this Sun Devils team looks poised to surprise some folks in 2023. The Sun Devils might not win 10 games in 2023, but host Richie Bradshaw thinks they'll find a way to be scrappy in each outing.
