Colorado boy Gannon Stauch, 11, was last seen at home in Fountain, Colorado. Gannon’s stepmother, Letecia Stauch, reportedly told police he left to play with friends and never returned home.

Leticia Stauch says within a few hours of Gannon leaving, she knew something was wrong when the boy didn’t return home. Gannon reportedly didn’t tell his stepmother which friend’s house he was going to. Now, court documents show Gannon Stauch was murdered in his bedroom by his stepmother, allegedly on the day, the 11-year-old was reported missing.

Leticia Stauch has been charged with first-degree murder, child abuse resulting in death and tampering. Recovered evidence supports a violent event that occurred in the bedroom with blood spatter on the walls and soaked through the carpet.
