Prompted by the idea in a recent book that Mark's reading around the courage to be disliked, we take about some of the confronting thoughts and beliefs we hang on to, such as in Mark's case the perceived 'bad dad' label, from the days he now reflects on and feels that he prioritised a corporate career over his kids sports and various milestones. It takes a hell of a lot of courage to speak up about stuff like this, and that why I absolutely adore having Mark on the show! Well, that and he keeps me mighty honest and challenges my own thinking and behaviour at the same time.
