In the Gospel reading for Oct. 12, 2025 (28th Sunday in Ordinary Time), ten lepers are cured, but only one, a Samaritan, returns to praise God. On its surface, it is a story about the gift of healing. In this homily reflection, Archbishop Weisenburger invites us to look deeper and recognize that the Samaritan actually received something much greater: the gift of faith.
