No one knows everything about everything. Sometimes we know nothing when it comes to certain topics. Seems like a basic concept yet many struggle to come to terms with it. It is ok to be ignorant. Ignorance is the first step to knowledge.  The absence of sufficient evidence should never be the reason that you make a decision. If you find yourself in a situation with insufficient information or evidence, use the information you have to make the best decision instead of an uninformed one.

People love to throw distractions into conversations when they don't' know what the hell they are talking about or if they are only looking to affirm their initial point of view.  Don't let people take control of an argument by leading you away from the point being made.   Most times by introducing a new and totally irrelevant topic to now debate.
