Although I don't believe it's particularly noteworthy, I must admit that some of these encounters moved me, which improved my overall movie-watching experience. This is your typical, everyday rom-com family drama in A Family Affair on Afdah Movies. It doesn't provide anything novel, yet in some way it combines traditional family drama with modern issues. The fact that the film's leads are all well-known white actors who have been in the industry for a long time makes it clear that the goal is to fill the supporting cast with people of color. Joey King has been fantastic lately, particularly following her incredible turn in the film We Were the Lucky Ones. In all honesty, Joey does the majority of the heavy lifting for them in the movie, so she doesn't have much to do, although there is one.
