And we go back 50 years, to the killing of four students at Kent State University by national guardsmen during a protest against the Vietnam War.  Robert Giles, then the managing editor of the Akron Beacon Journal, has written a book that hopes to be the definitive record of what actually happened on May 4, 1970.
