It's easy to have your whole identity wrapped into your bariatric journey. While bariatric surgery is a big part of our stories, it's not what makes us, us! We were created with intention and are so much more than our bariatric surgeries, what the scale says or what food we consume. We will dive into talking about what it means to find your true identity, what blockages get in the way and how to find fulfillment in life when bariatric living becomes mundane. 

Shea Quinn is a human first and isn't defined by her strengths, hardships, interests, or roles. One of Shea's core values is living in who she was created to be, rather than trying to mold herself into something she's not. Having a vertical sleeve gastrectomy in March of 2022 and losing over 100 pounds has contributed to this growth. Her journey of self-discovery has brought a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in psychology. These days, Shea is excited to be sharing her journey on Instagram, YouTube, the Grow with Shea podcast and The Weighting Table podcast, in hopes that it will encourage others to grow with her.
