This week we go back in time with former Footscray and Collingwood forward Jon Ballantyne. Jon reminisces about his career, reflects on some of special moments during his time in the game.

Jon, a Gippsland football product, began his  AFL career in the 1990 season with Footscray, playing 20 games in four seasons before crossing to Collingwood for two seasons, playing a further 9 games. Following his AFL career, Jon had a crack overseas punting in the NFL.

In this chat, Jon talks securing a spot in a dominant Bulldogs line up at that time, playing the forward role in the 90s, his move to Collingwood, playing in defence at the Pies and his gridiron punting journey.
