We all knew this would be a tough night for the Reds, and so it proved, with Bournemouth proving to be slick, composed and superior in many departments. Forest weren't entirely hopeless, but the concession of soft goals at the start of each half gave them too much to do, and even when Bournemouth took their foot off the gas, the Reds struggled to test Asmir Begovic in the Cherries' goal.
