USE CODE SHITTITS for 20% off your Neuro order!   At the age of 19, Ryan Chen, had a spinal cord injury from a snowboarding accident which paralyzed him from the waist down. Entering his 20’s in college and coming off an opioid addiction after the accident, Ryan and his roommate Kent Yoshimura(and eventual Neuro co-founder), started experimenting with energy pills in their dorm room while majoring in Chemistry and Neuroscience, respectively. Years of friendship and trialing homemade products later, the boys created NEUROGUM - a cognitive enhancing piece of gum. Ryan talks about the resiliance and self-doubt that comes with creating a multi-million dollar company.  ~* APOLOGIES FOR SOME MINOR MICROPHONE POPPING IN THIS EPISODE!*~   FOLLOW NEURO ON INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/neurogum/?hl=en FOLLOW US: Podcast Instagram/Twitter: @ConfidentlyPod Host @KelseyDarragh   DROP US A LINE: [email protected]   CONFIDENTLY INSECURE MERCH: https://store.dftba.com/products/confidently-insecure-shirt       artwork by @backspace.tv   photo by @isergiogarcia
