General Hospital sees Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is secretly allying against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), creating a vast network of enemies determined to take him down. The enemies of Sonny are more numerous than he realizes, with Sidwell furiously scheming to oust Sonny from Port Charles. There seems to be two separate culprits behind the fire at Sonny’s home and the Charlie's Pub fire on the ABC soap opera. 

GH sees Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is unraveling these dangerous connections while Sidwell continues to manipulate situations to his advantage, even attempting to buy the piers from Sonny. However, Sonny, Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are all unaware of the multitude of threats converging on them.

General Hospital sees Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), DA Turner (Donnell Turner), and even Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) are all secretly working against Sonny. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is working for Sidwell but also aims to take Sonny down. The revelation of Professor Henry Dalton's (Daniel Goddard) mind control research, funded by Sidwell, adds another layer of intrigue to the unfolding drama.
