Episode 85: Generating the new Mountains

In this episode, DuDs and Jimbo discuss Bedrock Beta, 1.16.220.50, for Minecraft 1.17, which introduces a new Mountain generation up to a maximum of 256 blocks height. The Mountains have new sub biomes: Lofty Peaks, Snow Capped Peaks, Snowy Slopes, Mountain Grove, and Mountain Meadow. This BETA also reintroduces the Glow Squid which now emits glow coloured ink particles when hurt and raises world height to 320 blocks. Also, we have a question from ohbeep about how DuDs and Jimbo are preparing for the next update. Plus, the remaining random thoughts on 1.17 from last weeks snow, including a new music disc and more uses for Glow Berries.
