Geoff Ward, who took over last fall for Bill Peters as the interim head coach for the Flames, saw the interim tag removed this week by the Calgary Flames. Geoff joins Scott and Pierre to discuss his journey from the University of Waterloo, to being a head coach in the NHL.

Scott and Pierre also discuss Peter Laviolette joining the Capitals as their new head coach and what the future may be for veteran coaches Mike Babcock and Gerard Gallant.

The guys also talk about the huge game five, double OT win by the Islanders to force game 6 vs Tampa Bay.

Pierre and Scott also take a look at some of the interesting off-season moves by Billy Guerin in Minnesota, including acquiring Nick Bjugstad, signing Jonas Brodin and rumours swirling that Matt Dumba will be moved this fall as well.

Finally, the guys address the Coyotes General Manager position which could be filled as early as today by St. Louis scout Bill Armstrong, and the ongoing financial limitations for the Coyotes.
