Hi friends! Welcome back to Chittin’ and Chattin’ — where we dive into whatever’s happening in our brains. 🎙️✨
This week’s Sips of the Week was a spicy tea that we very scientifically paired with Girl Scout cookies and banana peppers… because why not? 😂 Syd also manages to literally spill her tea at one point, which honestly feels very on-brand for us.
We chat about the importance of appreciating different cultures, learning a few basic phrases when traveling, and showing respect for the places and people we visit. 🌎
We’re also starting a new little segment called “Get to Know Your Hosts” where we go full interview-style on each other. M asks Sydney how she met her hubby (since we talk about him all the time), and Syd shares their Tinder meet-cute that somehow turned into the perfect love story. 💕
Sydney flips the script and asks M about the moment she realized she needed to leave her seven-year relationship and how she navigated such a difficult decision. We talk about how strong and smart she was for leaving when she did—and, as fellow crime junkies, we also acknowledge how scary that situation could have been.
At the end of the day, we reflect on how sometimes life unfolds exactly the way it’s meant to, even when it doesn’t feel like it at the time.
Grab a sip, get comfy, and come chit and chat with us. ☕💬
