Christmas is often a season of pace. Parties, gifts, meals, shopping, school plays pack our schedules in December. And if not, social media doesn’t let us forget it. Christmas isn’t supposed to be about pace. It’s supposed to be a season of peace. We all long for even just a measure of peace in our lives … join us as we look at the Christmas story and specifically Jesus. His peace is greater than our pace.

We don’t always know the depth and breadth of the peace (shalom) that God offers and ultimately sends to us through Jesus. This week will explore the concept of Shalom in comparison with our attempts to achieve peace, especially at Christmas.
