As you're reparenting and healing your inner child, sometimes the last straw in a relationship is when your inner mom says "that's enough." As I've been loving myself more and more, I've been understanding how sacred and special and worthy I am. It's one thing to know that you are worthy of being treated well... and it's another thing to feel like shit in a relationship and decide that you've had enough of feeling that way.
Recently, I had several realizations that encouraged me to end a soulmate connection that I had so much desire around. But ultimately, I felt increasingly insecure in our connection, which lead to me feeling insecure about myself. As my insecurities continued to be triggered, and my person continued not to soothe, communicate, or explicitly choose me... my confusion started to impact more than just our connection.
Trigger warning: today's episode absolutely has tears... especially as I discuss the consequences of the narcisistic abuse and trauma I suffered. Overall, I hope that it inspires you to consider your own feelings in relationships more than ever before.
