GITM #14 Mini Me

Welcome to The Glorious in the Mundane Podcast! Today we’re going to talk about the great lengths that our Father will go to to pull us back close to Himself. We might wander but He doesn’t let us wander for long before He sends us life-lines… I can’t even tell you how true Proverbs 16:9 has been these past few weeks, well, years actually... “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord directs their steps.” Even just this past week, we have had more plans unravel than I was prepared for! It took a lot of work sifting through the changes but In the end though, we ended up right where we needed to be. Like right now, I was supposed to be somewhere else even in this very moment and my plans unraveled to the degree that I’m now sitting on my front porch in a rocking chair enjoying the most gorgeous Fall weather I’ve seen this year. It’s just the best, unexpected surprise. I hope that today you’re reminded that your Father will do what it takes to lead you back to Himself. I’m sure He grins at our plans at times and does think they are quite honorable but in the end, I think He loves to direct our steps to a place of rest more than anything.  I’ve learned that it’s ok to make plans and to move forward with plans but it’s also more than ok when they unravel… Enjoy today’s “Mini Me” with a special song by @benbannister that I hope you all adore!Listen to 'You Revive Me'
