Big Idea: Jehovah Rohi means that God is able to meet all of your spiritual, directional, physical, emotional, and future needs as our Shepherd.

Jehovah (or “LORD”) means “the self-revealing one.”

Rohi means “to tend, pasture, shepherd”

Characteristics of Sheep

1. Sheep are…dumb, defenseless, dirty, & dependent

Green Pastures, Quiet Waters, and a Restored Soul

He restores by making you lie down in green pastures

He sometimes will wait for you to lie down to restore you

He leads us to quiet waters

A shepherd needs to guide his sheep because they are prone to wander
