Our government, our country are facing challenges because many of us aren't living in alignment with God's principles.
Not the gays. Not the transgenders -- those who proudly call themselves "Christians."
Whether we identify as Evangelicals, New Evangelicals, or belong to any denomination—Baptist, Methodist, Holiness, Non-Denominational, or others—we've drifted from the teachings of Jesus.
Real change can only happen when we, as God's people, commit to realigning ourselves with Him.
The divisiveness, name-calling, and hostility we've adopted, along with our tendency to prioritize political identities over our identity in Christ, only deepen the divide.
America is struggling and moving down a concerning path, and as followers of Christ, we are called to be the light that illuminates the way. Yet, it often feels like the church is hindering that mission.
We need to take a step back, reflect, and return to God with humility. This isn't about aligning with a specific religious or political agenda; it’s about placing God's Kingdom at the forefront of our lives.
It’s time for those of us who recognize this truth to take action and lead by example. Instead of being the example for stumbling blocks.
