It has been a sedate offseason for the Nashville Predators besides the re-signing of Filip Forsberg and a few smaller piece acquisitions. On today's Locked On Predators episode, Nick and Ann put on their general manager hats and lay out their trade proposals for three major players that could fill Nashville's biggest need. We take a look at what Nashville might be willing to part with to get J.T. Miller from a cap strapped Vancouver Canucks team. Columbus Blue Jackets made a big splash by signing Johnny Gaudreau, but does that mean the Predators might be able to work out a central division deal for Patrik Laine? We debate whether a Laine deal could actually make the Predators better considering what it might cost them. Finally, we shoot for the fences and put together our own aggressive packages for Calgary's Matthew Tkachuk. It would take a lot to convince the Flames that parting with Tkachuk is worth it, but would the Predators end up leveraging their future for a chance at this "big fish" now? Tell us how you think our trade proposals look - and let us know what you would be willing to trade to get Miller, Laine, or Tkachuk to Smashville!
