A charming little girl named Snowflower lives in a cozy cottage on the edge of a vast forest. Her only companion is a magical chair that spins enchanting stories. She sits snugly, listening to the chair's tales, and after a time her hens and cat disappear, and the barley meal runs out. So Snowflower embarks on an unexpected journey, a journey that leads her to the ostentatious city of King Winwell. 

But beneath the city's enchanting beauty and grandeur, lies a secret. A secret that young Snow Flower unravels amidst the grand feast. Follow her life as it takes an unexpected turn, as she transitions from a simple cottage girl to the chosen heiress of King Winweld and Prince Wisewit. Prepare to be swept away on an adventure full of magical chairs, noble feasts, and a city shrouded in mystery.
